How I started..
What started as a high school receptionist gig quickly became the beginning of a lifelong career in beauty. I didn’t grow up the “glam girl.” I was a tomboy in band tees, couldn’t draw a stick figure, and spent most of my time avoiding anything pink. But what I did grow up with was hustle. My father was a hardworking New-Yorican farmer who came to the States and built his own construction business. My family believed in doing things right, doing them well, and treating people with care. That’s the heart I bring into this work every day.

Today, I invest in ongoing education attending shows and classes quarterly to stay ahead of the latest innovations in hair, nail health, and beauty tech. But this salon isn’t about trends—it’s about solutions. I’ve built Bang-N-Nails around honesty, personalization, and care. Not every shade, shape, or style fits everyone—and that’s the beauty of it. Together, we’ll find what works for you.
Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, you’ll leave feeling heard, seen, and taken care of. This work is my calling—and it’s my way of giving back what I’ve been blessed to build. Because the truth is: I didn’t just create a salon. I created a space that heals.
